Nach einer Koppeleinheit am Vormittag, ging es nach dem Mittagsschlaf wieder ins Schwimmareal. Dort wärmten wir uns mit einer kurzen Einheit, inkl. einiger Sprints auf und wurden in the totally cool flow channel recessed. The actual swimming in the channel does not last too long, thanks to continuous change of resistance, it does not take long before the swimmer swims at full load.

Trotzdem verlor ich Zentimeter um Zentimeter an Boden, bis ich letztenlich nicht mal mehr die Arme aus dem Wasser bekam. Einmal losgelassen, klebte ich am hinteren Beckenrand wie eine Magnettafel, vom Strömungsdruck plattgepresst ;)

Das Video werde ich demnächst mal online stellen, kann mich gern jeder berichtigen, der sich mit Schwimmen auskennt :) Spaß hats auf alle Fälle gemacht!!!

Training Camp Tenerife

After a few days of training it was quiet this morning up Mount Teide. With a height of about 3700m is the highest mountain in Spain. At first we were trotting pace along the way, this was the latest after 45 minutes and was no longer an ordeal. After an hour we were about 6.5 km went up the path and overcame it about 1000 meters.
