Longest Herpes Out Break

Richard Dawkins does not plan to arrest the Pope!

Again has turned the tabloids an interesting message in itself through the meat grinder and all the German media after jump.

Richard Dawkins , British zoologist and professor at Oxford and solid defender of atheism, is currently all the headlines for his alleged megalomaniac idea of the Pope to denounce as "crimes against humanity" for screening of child abuse in the U.S., the team with the also from England Author Christopher Hitchens coming .
The uproar stems from an article in the Sunday Times , ie the British conservative press. The article takes you here:

The German press is full on it you lost. Without confirming that of Dawkins or an explanation of the story ended up in the features section of "Süddeutsche Zeitung" today but also for example in the "World Online" ( http://tinyurl.com/ timesdawkins1 ) . My dear friends of kath.net even talk about "Atheists rampage" ( http://tinyurl.com/timesdawkins2 ) . The result

much accordingly. Dawkins is accused of confusion of facts, confusion of national and international law and of course, perfidious, blunt, non-directional Aktionismus.

Was sagt unser Inhaber Wolfgang Grupp... äh... Richard Dawkins selbst dazu?

"It is now more than five hours since I submitted my Comment to the Sunday Times website, stating that their headline is a damaging lie ."

"Needless to say, I did NOT say "I will arrest Pope Benedict XVI" or anything so personally grandiloquent. [...]
What I DID say to Marc Horne [...] is that I am whole-heartedly behind the initiative by Geoffrey Robertson and Mark Stephens to mount a legal challenge to the Pope's proposed visit to Britain. Beyond that, I declined to comment to Marc Horne, other than to refer him to my 'Ratzinger is the Perfect Pope' article [...]

Den Artikel, den Dawkins in seinem Kommentar selbst noch erwähnt, ist "Ratzinger is the perfect Pope!" aus der "Washington Post":

Die Idee dieser Artikel is, above all, to shake the international recognition of the Vatican as "state" and consequently to the immunity of the Pope as head of state. All this also under the aspect that the Holy See in 1929 by Italy's fascist dictator, Benito Mussolini, just like in the "international landscape," and so on thrown subject of international law was made. could just as quasi Germany - follow this logic - Hamburg or Bayern outsource and independent subject of international law make. The UN
not have the Vatican a separate state accepted, however, given him a special observer status, and determined him Contracts can be signed (including, ironically, the Convention on the Rights of Children) can talk and topics such as abortion and contraception. This, of course, other religions - at best represented by NGOs - a disadvantage.

All this has meant that the Vatican is almost like a state acts and the Pope as head of state "under international law immunity claims, which has protected him in the U.S., a few complaints.

This is the initiative, which Dawkins supports. Grossly different from what is so common in our newspapers. The only mention of ICC (International Criminal Court - International Criminal Court) can be found in the penultimate paragraph, where it is said that the immunity from the ICC would not apply and the Holy See would do under circumstances in mind when he insists the Pope continue to adopt as head of state. For if a (quasi) government (for example) from a broad practice of sexual abuse know this and not punished, they make themselves liable to prosecution before the ICC.

That's all for today for the first time on this. I hope this is all a bit clearer now.

As always, When information is always important and often essential to listen to both sides clearly and to go to the actual sources, order not to include the media chewed misunderstandings!

Dawkins, the Pope will not be arrested, but he supports the idea that international recognition of the Vatican as a state - and therefore the immunity of the Pope - to challenge.
