In It was below freezing this morning in Herzogenaurach, for HerzoCross Duathlon (4.3 / 15 / 2,5)
After a short Warm-up collapsed Frank, Jan and I join the fray and began the first race lap.
comfortable start, as always, stop;)
The competition should be the end of my 3-week block. The first section went amazingly well, here I trickled in after 4.3 km than about 6 Either way, back into the stadium. Quickly grabbed the bike and off we went. Andi lent me for his niegelnagelneues cross bike, thank you! It was so niegelnagelneu that there is still no single meter was moved. Just before the start I knew then, that the post was too short. Well, wurscht, also fuhr ich im "Kinderradstyle" mit Hintern 10cm übern Rückrad mit...haha
Nach meiner lustigen Radtour ging es als 15. wieder zurück ins Stadion. Die sechs Starter vor mir, überholte ich gleich beim Wechsel und rannte mit wehenden Fahnen aus dem Sportplatz heraus. Ich war schon irre gespannt, wer wohl gewinnen würde. Als mir dann irgendwann Franky entgegen kam, freute ich mich riesig für ihn und wusste, dass er höchstwahrscheinlich alle anderen auf dem Rad einfach "überrollt" hatte ;)
Sein Rad kommt kaum hinterher, so schnell rannte Frank of the transition area!
Shortly after the change point Dominik Mages still ran past me, who had in his debut the same magic times LD 2:55 h onto a parquet. As is always the case when you are sure that the one you Reconditioned not always comes along, then you just say "hang ran up"! If I had made probably, but unfortunately there was no one to whom I would have to call;))
A quick look told me back that I could roll in the last 200m unchallenged into the stadium. A nice match thus came to an end, I can only put all his heart. Great organization!
Dafür war ich der erste an der Bar :)
Franky hat am Ende vor Bernd Hagen gewonnen und Jan ist bei seinem Wettkamfpdebüt als 60. ins vordere Mittelfeld eingetaucht, obwohl er mit dem von mir ausgeliehenen Mountain-Bike wohl ein paar Probleme hatte...hey, Jan, jetzt weißt du warum ich es nicht selber gefahren bin!! ;)
