Lange Zeit wurde das Kampfkunstkino vom Kungfu dominiert. Authentisch japanisches Karate spielte in den diversen Action- und Martial Arts-Streifen bisher keine Rolle. Das könnte sich jetzt ändern. Im Oktober kommt in Japan ein Film in die Kinos, der mit "richtigen" Karate-Darstellern der JKA (Japanische Karate Gesellschaft) aufwartet and therefore my knowledge the first time the Karate Shotokanryu the main subject of an action film making, "Kuro Obi (Black Belt) from director Shunichi Nagasaki.
As far as can be seen the trailer , the fight scenes are technically well implemented and genre typically spectacular and realistic. The film comes up with beautiful images, as they are similar in productions such as "Hero" knows and promises good popcorn entertainment for karate enthusiasts and those who want to be. The story does not seem to give away too much, but we know about that of similar films like "Ong Baak" anyway. I hope that the stripes run in German cinemas one day, or at least available on DVD is.
